Suspicious behaviour in Saxilby

Dear Resident,

Lincolnshire Police received 2 reports of suspicious activity during the hours of darkness on the morning of 09/04/2026. Both incidents happened between 04:00 and 04:15 in the areas of Queensway, and Lincoln Road in Saxilby. A male has been caught on domestic CCTV, where he has tried the front door handle of 2 addresses. He has not gained entry to any property during this time. 

The male is described as being white, approximately 19 years old, slim build, wearing a grey tracksuit, dark coloured gloves and a balaclava over his mouth and nose. 

We ask for local residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to police via 101 or 999. Reporting online is an option, but this inbox is not monitored 24/7. Any incidents that are in progress, should be phoned in. Please remember to ALWAYS keep your doors, garages and windows locked and keep mobile phones charged in case of an emergency. Keeping your home well-lit will put off unwanted visitors, as well as increased exterior lighting with motion detection.
